Family Photographs

It's fun to look through old family photographs - see the black and white images of times long past or long forgotten. This one shows my Mum and Dad at the Seaside in Southend on Sea. The boy riding the lion (stuffed, I hope) is my eldest brother and the little bundle in my Mum's arms is me, just a few months old. My other brother was rather shy and wouldn't have his photo taken so he's not in this shot. It's a good illustration of what people wore for a day trip to the seaside in the early 1950s.
