Long Shot Horizon

A long shot for a long day...

A walk along the riverside was a quiet distraction from a long day, not a soul in sight. I took a little time to reflect on the events of the past few days and to wonder what the future may hold. There was a chill today but the rain was gone even if just for a while and it was a pleasure to be back with our river, a little bit of a different view for my friend with whom I share a love of this place

I liked the depth in this shot and how the tyre tracks feint to see, disappeared towards the horizon, I liked how the lamp standards on one side of the path were mirrored by the trees on the other but again as with the previous few days the light was pretty flat so monochrome won out again... I hope you enjoy the shot and who knows what tomorrow will bring...
