Nice weather for ducks

I know that talking about the weather is such a British thing to do but I have to say these rainy days, especially the evenings are starting to get on my nerves.

I have to say I'm a great fan of stormy weather cause I always feel that as in life often a storm creates a new opportunity to refresh something. I love the rain lashing against my lounge window during a storm, it makes me want to have a warm bath or just go to bed and snooze whilst I listen to the drops hitting the window and the excess water drain back into the earth. It's like a renewal of the earth every time it rains, clouds let go of their burden and pain and the earth offers solace and forgiveness and allows the rain to be soaked into its skin ready to breathe new life into a dehydrated earth. Sometimes my life feels like a storm, yes I love the excitement and the action,

What unusual weather we seem to be having this winter, I've actually been too warm some evenings. I struggle mentally during these dark winter months but I'm always glad to come through it and out the other side with new challenges and light nights!

What do you usually do when it's dark and raining?

As I say I just love having a bath then a nap but I'm lucky enough to have peace and quiet in the house. What do you like doing to fill time during a rain shower.?
