The family

Thank you all for the lovely comments on Sam.
Remember a few week ago I spy a couple of Grebe making a nest, they had one nest with four eggs and thy left that nest to much going on around it, then they started another, well they left that one as well, so today I saw the Grebe out with the family on the lake near the marina , and have successful raised two chick.

Sorry for the poor quality I really had to push the telephoto and then cropped the billy o out of, I did consider this other one for a brief moment.
The Wanaka challenge is on this week end a big triathlon half and full I'm glad I don't have to jump into the lake at 7.30, we have friends from Christchurch who will be down for the teams event, they do the half its a team of three one swims the other the bike which is what our friend will be doing then there's the run. So to test out my panning skills tomorrow. My other image is on my Blipfolio
