A way to go

Bought an orchid on the way home yesterday - a sale item from a garden centre. I spent a little time this afternoon using it as a possible subject for a blip. At times like these in particular, I was reminded of all the subtleties as I tried different backgrounds, different lighting conditions with countless tinkering of the various settings until it became quite random. And I still didn't get the clear, sharp shot I was seeking. But I quite liked this one.

I have a way to go.
