"aurora...."

The Northern Lights were supposed to be visible last night after the recent solar activity on Tuesday.

I had my eyes to the sky all night, waiting for 12.30am which was supposed to be the best time to see them. The night sky was perfect for them - no clouds - a starry starry night....until 12.30am! The clouds rolled in and my chance of seeing the Northern Lights was gone :(

So this post-aurora morning sky just about made up for the overnight disappointment! :)
