Cold

Today everyone made it to school on time and (fairly) happily.

I got a really nice 5 mile run in at my local park. I just changed up my running shoes and am in LOVE with my new ones!

During my run, I noticed this little stream with an ice formation by the water. I thought it looked so cool that, after the run, I stopped back with my camera and took a few shots. I do wish it was a bit later in the day so I could have dragged the shutter a bit more, but I was happy with the shot. Although I was also cold to the bone by the time I was done.

Nice lunch today with a friend too. It would have been a perfect day had my youngest not arrived home to announce their little school is closing this year. It has been something threatened for a while now and definitely something we are NOT happy about.
