Wolf moon
through high cloud At 05:05:55 GMT on Thursday, 16 January 2014 the moon's phase was full. (Or, to be more precise, 99.9998965423605% full.)
I am so tired today. I really struggled to do my swim (1k in 29 minutes). I think I am getting a cold...but then maybe the getting up 10 minutes earlier just so I could take this picture may have something to so with it.
I had to do some processing to the image as the high cloud wasn't playing fair until I got to work (and at that point I am without scope).
And today I find out that John Dobson - inventor of the of the dobsonian telescope (such as the one used to take this image) died yesterday.
This is the most fitting tribute I know.
