Urdu

It's a slow process (or slog, depending on how I'm feeling), and sometimes I wonder why on earth I'm doing it. And the answer keeps me going : for the pleasure of being able to read and write Urdu. I'm not looking for proficiency, just enough to be able to stumble my way through, say, a child's story book.
