a happy Storm

After 3 days of avoiding mud by using paved routes, today's sunshine inspired a walk around the reservoir. This seemed to please the dogs greatly as there are good sniffs there and if they're really lucky duck and bunny poop!

The path is mixed, some areas are gravel and some where each footstep displaces brown water. Coats and boots in the waiting to be cleaned queue again. Where the river is dammed to make a reservoir there is a little wall which the puppies always jump on and walk along the top. I'm not sure what Storm was thinking/smelling at this point but it amused me as he looks like he's savouring the moment!

Needless to say the reservoir is looking near capacity
