Braces

There's scaffolding on the house prior to next weeks planned re-roofing. I thought I'd lucked out yesterday when I got back from work to find the scaffolders had already been (I wasn't expecting them until today) but they're back this afternoon finishing off. They're thumping around at the back, making occasional worrying crashing noises - I'm not sure whether it's Hector or me that finds the having work done on the house most disturbing...!
