Policies boundary

To the right of the dyke is the Swanbister Estate, to the left of the dyke is the Gyre estate. The near side of the dyke is 'me peedie estate'. Inevitably you can just make out the Hoy Hills to the left. The Orphir hills, on the right, are the highest on the Orkney Mainland.

The day didn't get off to a good start. Rained stair rods and the coalman turned up unexpectedly early. However the eight sacks of the best which he delivered (initially into the wrong shed) will keep us going over the next 16 months. It will be supplemented with some pest and wood off the beach.
