Blue Morning, Blue day
Yeah, Back to blue skies up here on the Hill anyway. A heavy mist was hanging over the Firth this morning. Could just about see the red lights indicating where the bridge was. It was cold though and a heavy frost covered the soil as we headed to The Point for a quick walk.
The fishing boat Calypso W15 was out picking up creels and moving slowly in the mist between each one. It looked quite romantic as the sun hit it now and again.
Two cormorants were perched at the end of the slipway. They looked quite comical together. One flew off and left the other one alone.
We walked round the path behind the lighthouse, the tide was up to the wall the other way. A robin hopped onto the bench as three golfers took their shots. It seemed a busy morning there and a huge hole of sand has been made, possibly for the bunkers that are being changed.
I always like this lighthouse standing proud at the end of the point. The clouds behind always look dramatic.
A salmon jumped out making me jump. I collected a few pieces of sea glass and pottery. The shape of the point has changed from the last time I was there. A lot of stones have been pushed up making the sides quite steep.
