Almost Full Moon

Another Moon blip. I've realized that it's really really hard to get sharp images of the Moon with my current lenses (800mm Samyang with a 2x teleconverter), but I'm not planning to spend any more money for my occasional Moon blipping. Maybe I could borrow a D800 and see if more pixels make a difference.

If someone of you have some experience about Moon blipping, you're more than welcome to share some hints with me.
