At the "Baggerputten"

Today a walk around Slochteren, famous because of the enormous field of natural gas which has been discovered in the fifties, and because of the Freylemaborg, an old stonehouse.
This picture was taken at the "Baggerputten", a place where in the 17th century turves were cut out. It's now a kind of nature reserve where people with a license can fish at carp....

Very nice place to be!
