Rainbow Bird

Though this pic isn't the sharpest, taken on full zoom through light rain, I had to share it with you. On an unusually grey day here in the Queensland summer, this little beauty stood out almost like something from a Disney cartoon.

It's an Azure Kingfisher () and is found in north and east Australia, Tasmania and Papua New Guinea. This one was sitting on a fallen tree in the Obi Obi River in the centre of Maleny, Queensland.

It's been a busy few days work-wise; we've been battling with technology issues for delivering digital downloads to customers direct from our website.
