Closed..

Closed for ten weeks......


That's what it says on two of my favourite bridges over the Cam...one is already shut while the other is soon to join it! They are only foot bridges but they provide a necessary link to the town at very convenient places. If not in physical terms both have featured in lots of my blips as view points or backdrops. It will be strange to not have them there.

The boat crews use one of them as the main cross over to the river and I can't think of how they will over come it without missing a good 3/4 of a mile, no longer able to see and give guidance to the rowers. These funny little changes, tiny rivulets of difference, send ripples down the line. Already I've noticed the difference in the paths that I use as the flow of unusual users come in. Chaos theory at its most noticeable...

Today's blip is one to silence...the two boats had no shouty helpers....so this presented a lovely quiet scene....very tranquil.....very restful....if only my tooth wasn't killing me!
