A Bug's Life

This little critter was atop a clover on the lawn.

I have no idea what it is; it looks a bit like an ant with wings, and it's tiny.

The outside temperature was sitting on 26 degrees Celsius all night, and we had to have the windows open all night. It was still hot when I got up just after 5.30am. It wasn't until a southerly came in this afternoon that it cooled down.

I don't think I could cope with temperatures in the mid 40's, like they're having in Australia!
