Work, Work, Busy, Busy, Bang Bang!

A busy day starting on the wedding pictures.

SWMBO was still feeling a bit under the weather so I had the task of getting The Cygnet to nursery (after having spent the morning watching his imagination run riot playing with him and his toys in his bedroom.

It was a really nice day when I walked down with him - while he went "super fast" on his scooter.

Both the kids were super fun today - despite the marathon yesterday and them being horrors for their mother first thing.

Yesterdays bride and groom dropped in early evening to say Thank You and to drop of the jump leads I leant to the wedding planner the other day (faulty electrics, damp, freezing weather, 4 days away = flat battery) and drop off a chunk of wedding cake ........... anyone know how to preserve the icing figures from the top of a wedding cake?.
It turns out that the groom is related to an on line camera equipment seller from whom several people I know (including No1 son) have bought from -- very good service and prices I am told. In fact my flash gun came from him (Ian Kerso at Flash Camera ..... plug, plug).
Small world.

Camera club tonight ................ an interclub with the "old" club for the Dave Turnbull Trophy.
Unfortunately we came 2nd!
But only by 4 points and it really was a case of what the judge liked - not the quality of the images (he was also a bit inconsistent and couldn't get away from the compositional 'rules').
Still, there was some good chat over home made cakes and sandwiches during the break (and in the pub after)...... we try to be hospitable to visitors.

Next year it will be ours .......................
