Fings wot I av learned

I had lectures from 9am until 7pm. From there to a 'wine and cheese of all nations' social. After that it was Thai food for all. Here are some of the things I learned today;

1. Canadian ice cider makes a very good pudding wine
2. People are usually surprised to meet a woman who likes whisky
3. The Indian wine I tasted smelled like the shop called Carpet Right (on a warm day)
4. 'Road soda' is like 'one for the road' except you take it with you
5. If someone from the Caribbean asks if you want a beer, be careful it isn't served in a tower.
