Play ball!

I am going cross eyed-ed. It's nearly midnight and I am so done with frosting now. There are 21 of these guys to do. Tomorrow.

Ben will be 8! He wants a baseball party. Invited the family over to watch the Dogers beat the ....whoever they are playing....in the playoffs. He has his own baseball game at noon. Wants to bring cupcakes to celebrate with his team. Of course, I can't just bring any ole' cupcakes. And also in the making is a large baseball and bat. I baked everything and made the frosting tonight, as we watched the Angels lose in the 13th inning to the NY Yankees. Tomorrow I will figure out how to make them look like a ball & bat. We are making decorations too. Phil got me to draw a grasshopper (Ben's team mascot) on a paper hat. I almost blipped it since I spent half an hour on it!

We hit 95 degrees today. Soccer was really hard for the girls' games. Katrina got 3 goals, one of them she zigzagged around 2 players like a pro. Victoria's team lost 0 - 3, but she had some great plays - it was just too hot. I hope it will be much cooler tomorrow.

My cupcakes would melt!
