lots and lots of food

today was buildOn's regional service project for connecticut. we had a food drive called "yes we can" (hehe) at our schools & grocery markets this past month. today we went to bridgeport to a church to sort & organize all of the food & split them up to go to three different organizations. some people got to cook & serve a community meal in the church. i was in the group sorting the food. we had to go into a basement to bring all the food to organize in the parking lot. there was tons of food! we got in done super quickly with time to spare. it was freezing, and we were super hungry towards lunchtime, but all in all, we had a fun day :D
