Boats

Sorry that the title isn't very imaginative. Long old day with a few hours driving on top of a full-on visit. It was great but non-stop from the time I got there to leaving, even worked through lunch. After I left the site I went back to near where I stayed last night to grab some photos and stretch my legs - and head - before heading onto the motorway.

These boats are moored on the river Nene above Orton lock. The sluices and guillotine lock-gate are open to let lots of water flow through - and there are signs advising against navigation at the moment.

Home now - a nice cup of tea and football about to start on the TV. Does it get any sweeter?
