A Stylish Eye, London

Day 15 of 365. By dint of this being the only shot I took all day this will have to do to keep my 365 going! The eye has so often been used as a symbol in photography and art - I think two of the most memorable are Man Ray's metronome and "Un Chein Andalou" by Luis Bunel.
So the eye can be both an observer but also oppressive or even disturbing. The eye in this image seemed more benign and to do with fashion and being cool than something more sinister.
Today's quote is from the master himself, Henri Cartier-Bresson - " Photographers deal in things which are continually vanishing and when they have vanished there is no contrivance on earth which can make them come back again".
