Chocolate

This weeks ice cream is chocolate. My first recipe with a custard base. Made it yesterday and left it to freeze over night, it's now brick hard. After waiting 20 mins for it to become scoop able, I had a bowlful. It's not as good as my first attempt, but still tasty.

McCombers is raging. She's on a diet and exercising, and I go and make chocolate ice cream, loaded with cream, sugar and chocolate.

Oh well. She bought me an ice cream machine. What did she think would happen?

In other news I was in Edinburgh for a meeting with my new boss today. In the past my meetings have lasted till at least 5, or later. Today I was done by 2:45pm!! Amazing.

Hopefully a good sign of things to come.
