Bright spot

I think the only bright spots today were the cyclamen, cheerily flowering away on the window sills, regardless of the torrential rain battering on the glass and the wind whipping up the waves just outside the front window!

It did mean that I got some bits and pieces done in the house, including writing a couple of letters and making a chicken casserole ready for dinner, but we didn't venture far, Ollie and me, just to the post box and back! We shall make up for it another day . . .

I bought these as tiny plants and grew them on but must have potted two different coloured ones up in the same pot. Quite like the effect, and they don't seem to mind!
