Still frisky

I had to take Hector, the car, in to have a bearing sorted this morning and while Jim attended to this I went on into Durrus, and did a bit of work complete with a constant supply of cappuccinos. The cafe is a very pleasant place to work - warm, bright, lots of toing and froing and a very charming French waiter. There was a ladies' coffee morning in action - I kept a safe distance!

I needed to check something out at the old church in Kilcrohane so then went west and go sidetracked by the sea. The sun had come out, the colours were fabulous and it felt so fresh and clean. This is Kicrohane pier, a popular swimming place in the summer. Normally you can skirt around the coast on foot but the path is currently closed due to the storms. The water was still a bit frisky. Me and a litttle red legged turnstone admired the scene.

hynotic waves to listen to while you browse - ooof, it's sending me off! And once you start looking for this kind of thing, did you know you can get 10 hours worth of waves crashing on youtube??
