Lookout

With the snow and wind that we had on the way up here last night, our 3.5 hour drive turned into 5.5 hour drive. The AWD drive in the new Subi definitely helped the drive go a little smoother. The worst is when semis and trucks would pass causing a complete white out in front of you.

Watched a little tv last night and called it an early night.

This morning Gav and I woke up early and made a stop at the local grocery store for some eggs and bacon. On the way out of the door I stopped to take a picture of this cool wooden owl. He seems to be the one that protects the house, watches to see who enters/exits. Some more of the boys will show up this afternoon, the rest Thursday/Friday.

It's very calming up here with the soft slow snow falling, wooden cabin vibe, and the subtle hum of the pellet burner. Looking forward to a relaxing day watching all (as many as we can) of the Star Wars movies in order. A little R&R before the gangs all here, and the madness begins.
