Big Blue

Continuing the fishy theme ... here's Big Blue, my Blue Rainbowfish. He's from the region north of Australia. When in breeding, his colours light up an electric blue, and he forms a very prominent stripe down his nose (to both attract a female and to ward off other males).

This particular male doesn't seem to like either males or females. I have had to remove him from the other Rainbowfish as he has bullied the others to death (literally). He is now in amongst 15 little Guppies and some Cory catfish and seems to like being the boss of a smaller tank.

I now have a shoal of 7 new (smaller), mostly female Blue Rainbowfish in the larger tank .... they all seem to be peaceful (so far).
