Ducks and The Rabbit

In the middle of the boating lake there is an island.

In the winter the lake is drained and cleaned.

It is then refilled.

It is usually full of ducks.

Today I noticed a rabbit sitting quite happily next to a pair of ducks.

The rabbit now has no way of leaving this island.

Unless he can swim. ( can rabbits swim ?? )

I do so hope he has a playmate, otherwise he will be very lonely.

However he is completely safe.
