Time to ponder?

Up and out early this morning for the usual Pilates class followed by refreshments at the Penny Bank. A lovely way to spend the morning chatting with the girls (whose average age is probably 60+) and all with very interesting varied experiences.

Bought a brace of pheasants from Ann (the results of a shoot near Rosedale) surprised myself by being able to joint the birds ready for a casserole.

Then applied my mind to finding a blip on a dog walk. We pass by a small pottery and this figure always attracts my attention. One of my best photographs of him is in the snow. I particularly liked the way the vegetation is gradually growing over his boots. I always wonder what he may be thinking of.
