Three Way Selfie

When three blippers meet for lunch, how do they record the fact for blipfoto?

Last night thinking about what I might blip alongside Roseanna Cunningham and Peter May (who was our guest in the Parliament today) I wondered if a three way selfie might work.

I had to work quite hard to persuade the other two, I think, but I am sure they will honour the commitment so there should be three slightly different versions of this on blipfoto at some stage today. The background, by the way, is the tapestry Fields of Endeavour, which is in the garden lobby of the Parliament and which I have blipped before.

One of the problems was being able to get all three of us in - something I hadn't thought of given the fact that I probably have longer arms. Sorry! Another unexpected issue was the sheer helpfulness of fellow MSPs - several stopped to ask if they could assist by taking our picture. We had to explain that wasn't the idea.

Anyway great to see Peter looking so well despite the grueling book tour. A third member of the Parliamentary Peter May fan club joined us at the end of lunch , the Deputy First Minister Nicola Sturgeon.

Time perhaps for a Peter May plot line set at Holyrood?
