In the woods

Today whilst driving to work i was thinking what can be my blip today ? then it ran out straight in front of me and into the woods, i couldn't resist but to follow armed with my trusty DSLR & sat for twenty minutes until this beautiful cockerel was dancing around my feet, looking old and with oil slicked feathers half of his tail feathers missing no doubt as a result of a close encounter with a fox i couldn't help but think it all added to his charm :)
