CNY decorations in Shenzhen

Made a trip up to Shenzhen today just across the border into China. Elizabeth was my partner in crime today.

We had a fabulous time today getting things fixed, sorted and exploring a bit more as to what the new trends are. Needless to say one of us came back with a few pairs of really nice shoes ... And I wasn't even me!!! Shock, horror!!!!

The biggest migration on earth has begun as workers head home for the most auspicious holiday of the year. Literally millions of people are on the move to be with their loved ones and trains will be packed as they return to their ancestral homes/villages.

We spent a lot of time talking to our friend/tailor up there about the process. She herself is very pregnant at the moment and will be staying put in Shenzhen as her home is deep in China!

On the way out, we spotted this stall that had a fabulous display of all sorts of CNY decorations. It was super colourful.

Great day out and was thankful for the company of my wonderful friend.
