Walking on the line of day

My walk to work was timed perfectly with the sunrise; every step took me closer into the bright orange and pink glow and I managed to capture the wonderful change in hues above a row of houses on my way.
The day was long and fairly boring but picked up considerably when we went out for drinks afterwards. Ali, Terri and me were joined by Luke at P. macs pub for Pinot Grigio and huge laughs when Terri got rather drunk and started talking about CSI and an episode she watched with a man named Wallace, and then how she wanted to become a 'CSI person' honestly, 'hands down, stickers up' (like the title of some new Beyonce song!) that is what she wanted to do.
Whilst we drank, the movie True Lies was playing on the wall and Terri was asking what was happening. She couldn't remember what Arnold Schwarzneggar looked like, and then couldn't even say his last name, she kept calling him Sportsnigger!
She then decided that being either a porn star or prostitute would be a good idea because she would charge whatever she liked and get really rich!
Then conversation turned to the recent complaint letter that was sent in about management that had mentioned racist comments (which there have never been) and terri told us the the funny remarks Paul had said at work about having a brown rabbit once so he wasn't racist etc., and Terri said that her little twin godchildren have the family nickname of nigglets because they are black.
In the end we decided that if ever she did become a porn star, Terri's name would be Wallace Sportsnigger Nigglet
What a night!
