Tree Temple

Day two of the temples. We decided to cycle today which was a really good way to get about. Left town before 6am to get to Angkor for the sunrise. It was a bit cloudy so I didn't find it that impressive. I think sunset here would be much better. It also wouldn't mean getting up at 5am!

We then cycled round a few of the other temples. My favourite one being this one, Ta Phrom which was one of the ones used in Tomb Raider. I've never seen the film but loved the temple with all the trees growing on and round what's left of the temple.

We spent about 2 hours at this temple so were able to get away from the crowds a bit. We found a few really quiet bits which was really good.
