The Dog House

It's been a very hectic day with all of the medical stuff. J had an appointment with his specialist, then the pre-op tests and counseling stuff. Unfortunately they were running late. After three hours, I had to leave J at the hospital while I drove back to my medical clinic for my doctor's appointment. My doctor was also running way behind schedule. By the time I made it back to pick J up, we were right in the heart of LA rush hour traffic. We stopped off and got some dinner then headed back to our RV. By the time we got back to the RV it was 8:00. The pups had been cooped up all afternoon and were starving. They were very happy to see us, but we could tell that they weren't too happy about being left alone all afternoon and being fed so late.

J and I always laugh about our RV being "the dog house" because the pups love going places. When we get to our RV they are so excited because it means more walks smelling new things, meeting new people and usually enjoying warmer weather. Generally being in the RV is a very happy thing to them.

But tonight, after their elation that we were home wore off and they had their dinner, they made it very clear that they weren't very happy with us. So, another walk and some goodies, and they seem to have forgiven us.

Until tomorrow when they have to endure another afternoon and evening by themselves which J has his procedure.
