Summer Days

Today reached 43 degrees celsius. We have no air con and no insulation, yet our hot box house was still cooler than venturing out into the sunlight! The first portion of my day was spent watching the tennis in front of the fan, leaving the house only to buy lunch and slurpees.

Lucky for us we were invited to Nikki's house for the evening and so we spent the rest of the night in her gorgeous and much appreciated pool! We also stayed the night, reaping the benefits of an air-conditioned house - that is why this blip is being uploaded a day late. Speaking of which, today's blip is of Damian looking pretty suave under the water. I bought my tough underwater camera specifically to take to Galapagos and it served me well, but it was fun having another opportunity to use it!
