River Almond

The River Almond rises on upland moors on the Lanarkshire border and flows 20 miles through West Lothian into Edinburgh to join the Firth of Forth at Cramond, where this shot was taken. Lovely day, although a late start for me as I enjoyed a lie-in, clearing-up in the garden and then off for a cycle. Time now to cork the red and start cooking dinner....
