Deserted Settlement..

Many Highland glens had quite considerable populations before the clearances, and this is typical of the kind of thing you can come upon.. I look at these and imagine the families that worked the land and brought up families here,this particular settlement had several small crofts (houses) nestled in an extremely attractive site, no shortage of fish or venison here, not to mention an unlimited supply of fresh water.. Will have to visit again soon as there`s no shortage of photographs
