Birthday Treats!

It was Mr M's birthday today but we didn't do a great job of celebrating :-(

We were both quite busy working during the day and then I had to go into London for a meeting this evening and Mr M had to teach.. I eventually managed to get dinner on the table at about 10pm. It was only fish and chips but at least it was home-made!

These M&S mini syrup puddings, courtesy of the Marks at the petrol station where I stopped on the way home from London, were the best I could manage by way of a birthday treat. Mr M.. we will do some proper birthday celebrating later this week - I promise!

In other news.. the house is still swarming with blue bottles. The cats are giving me no clues as to where they have hidden the body.
