New to London

One of the things I told Maria I'd do once she moves to London is take her around the less well known favourite areas of mine. So today for the first time in 2014 I had a day off (and a much needed lie in!). And more importantly, she also had the day free. So what did we do? I took her for a walk along the canal from Camden all the way to Little Venice past London Zoo and Regent's Park. Except we didn't make it all the way to Little Venice as they closed the gate at one point blocking the path. Something to do with early closing times in the winter. Boo. Instead we turned left on the road and made our way down to Marble Arch.

After coming to the conclusion we were both hungry once we hit Oxford Circus, it was time to head back and cook a 3 course meal?! Yup, took a further 2ish hours to do the shopping and cooking but it was gone in about 10 minutes. Delicious!
