Three things

FMS challenge day 14 - three things

Was a bit stuck on what to do for this one and have left it quite late but decided on these three fridge magnets from our growing collection. Lottie and her dad don't seem to be able to go anywhere without buying one! So these represent three of my favourite holidays.

Biarritz - back in the pre-Lottie days we had some fabulous holidays in South West France. My lovely Auntie Trish and Uncle Joe owned an old farmhouse in a tiny village called St Geraud and it was a little piece of heaven, so quiet and peaceful. The year before they sold it we sailed from Plymouth to Santander rather than our usual crossing to St Malo, spent a couple of nights in San Sebastian, and then drove across the border into France spending a night in Biarritz. The holiday was perfect, we have some fabulous memories of precious time spent with family.

Portland Bill - when Lottie was 6 months old we rented a cottage just outside Weymouth for a week. It was a lovely week, just the three of us, seeing a new part of the country. We visited Lyme Regis, Lulworth Cove and Portland Bill. I love looking back at the pictures of Lottie wrapped up in hat and scarf on the beach!

Seahouses - one of my favourite places in the whole world (not that I have seen much of it!) is Northumberland. Stuart's family are from the area so he spent a lot of his childhood there but I have fallen in love with the place. We have had a few holidays up there and when we took Lottie last year she really enjoyed it. Seahouses was her favourite place of all - she loved the beach and the fish and chips!

So they may just be fridge magnets but they do bring back lots of happy memories!
