Familiar faces

I've seen two familiar faces today. The first one was that of Kuzey, a dog who had been adopted a few months ago. Unfortunately he had been returned to the sanctuary by his new family.

The second familiar face was that of Mr Heron. I looked for him but he wasn't at the small pond at the park where I usually see him when Kuzey and I walked past it during our walk. He was there though when I walked past the pond again after the walk and fortunately I was able to take a few photos. I was quite surprised most of them turned out as well as they did because the light was very poor on what had already been a rather gloomy day and I had to take them with the macro lens on the camera.

My day off from work has been so frustrating! Several times I felt like screaming and this afternoon I just had to get out of the house for a while. It was only during my walk with Kuzey that I realised how much I've missed going to the sanctuary and I so look forward to being able to walk one of their dogs more frequently again after the move.
