Perfect Day

I had a short meeting about WI matters after dropping the children off at school and headed down to meet a school friend. The sun was shining but it was rather chilly so coffee was first on the agenda. I think we could have sat in the café all day but we had planned to have a walk so headed up to the moors. It was lovely up there in the sunshine and it was great to have a catch up with Jess. It was only when we were heading back down that I realised I'd forgotten to blip, too busy talking.
A good wintery walk should end with a good ale, so it was a pint of the local brew, accompanied by homemade fish finger sandwiches and the best chips I've had in ages. Delicious.
