50 years old

This week is the 50th anniversary of Jackie Magazine, a popular teen girls magazine, it peaked in the mid 70's with around 600,000 readers. I was in my early teens then & remember buying it on way to school, at break time we would all race to read the problem page *Dear Cathy & Claire* it was a far more innocent time ! The last issue was printed in 1993 but has spin offs with retro t-shirts and cd compilations of music from the 70's & 80's.

As I now work for the publishers, we have all enjoyed birthday cake courtesy of The Jackie!
