Looking Back
The wind swept this community all night and when we woke this morning there was very little decrease in its power. Most of the morning we watched the turbulent ocean and its rough waves.
After we ate a late breakfast, I took care of some bill paying that was not ready to do before leaving home to come here and I also did some bank account managing. So we needed to make a trip to the post office.
Once we dropped off the mail, we took a short drive out to the north of town and that is when I captured this view. The photo is actually showing more of the community of Morro Bay, the Rock, the stacks at the power plant, and the homes on the hillside. The community where our little place is, Cayucos, is not quite visible but to the north.
As we returned to the house, the late afternoon and night winds were once again strong.
I think the photo might be slightly angled and high on the right, but I don't know how to fix that on my iPhone and my computer does not connect to the Internet here at the house.
