Enjoying freedom
I never dared to get my camera out in the swimming pool until today, when I saw two dads videoing their kids. And so did I. I filmed and took pictures and all's well. Amazing really how quickly we can get used to ridiculous "laws", how obedient we are. Or maybe I should say how law abiding Brits are, much more than my compatriots. I don't want to say we're are criminals, I just feel we have this deeply ingrained anarchic twist, due to centuries of occupation and having to resist ever changing foreign authorities. Or maybe it's just me. I'd better finish this, history or psychology are not my specialities.
On another note, we had a very Australian morning: I went with Hanna to the pool on our bikes, then she swam, obviously, after that she had a sample tennis lesson into which she is now enrolled. Sporty Saturdays - very Aussie.
This combined with exotic lunch, fruit and veg shopping in the market, then some coffee and cake, quiet afternoon, waiting for weekend papers (delivery boy biking to and from the shops). Bliss.
