Another time, another plaice

Well actually its the same plaice as a few days ago, but in the next stage of being printed on wood.

Not as easy as it sounds on the various blogs and internet sites that explain how to do this - many say to print on paper coated with a special glue called mod podge, for me that just did not work at all, print showed all the marks in the dried on glue and the ink was smudgy.

This attempt is just by printing on mat photo paper and sticking it to the wood with clear acrylic medium. When its all dry then soak the paper with water and rub the paper off the wood leaving just the ink and acrylic medium behind.

Well it kind of works but nothing like the quality I am looking for -
