Chicken and chorizo pie
A quick recipe for a really tasty pie.
2 cubed chicken breasts.
1 large chopped red onion.
10cm chorizo, skinned and chopped.
Brown above until coloured.
Sprinkle on 1 heaped tbsp. Plain flour and stir to mix in 200ml chicken stock and half tub creme fraiche.
Cook on stove until thickened. Season well.
Put in pie dish, top with puff pastry, brush with beaten egg and bake at 190 degrees C. For 30-35 minutes until golden and cooked.
My youngest made it in her cookery lesson in school. She thought it up! I reckon mushrooms would add more taste but she is allergic so omitted them.
